What’s new in the bakery, confectionery and snack sectors? Iba – the International Bakery Exhibition – covers all the trends, from baking ingredients to packaging. The show takes place from 12-17 September at the Fairground Messe München.

There will be a show preview in the July/August issue of CP.

More than 1,200 exhibitors from all over the world will present the industry’s latest innovations, trends and technical developments to more than 70,000 visitors from over 160 countries.

Find out about production techniques and experience many machines live in action. Automation and process optimisation are hot topics for the food manufacturing industry – but also for small and medium sized businesses; from furnaces with temperature sensors, to cutting machines and dough preparation and transportation.

Snacks are also a focus, including fresh, fine and frozen food as well as store design, front baking and technical equipment.

Packaging plays a supporting role not only in terms of durability and food hygiene – but it also emphasises the quality of the content. Iba has it all, from disposable packaging to vacuum machines to capping and labelling machines. Logistics and cleanliness and hygiene are also a focus for exhibitors.
