Dormen expands with savoury snacks
Dormen Food Company has brought out The Dormen Savouries, a new type of snack that replaces traditional potato and wheat bases of crisps with lentils and yellow peas.
The new Dormen Savouries will be introduced in Indian Korma and Mediterranean Tomato & Herb flavours, created to match the lentil and yellow pea base.
Fran Campbell, managing director of The Dormen Food Company, comments, “In recent years, the premium snacking category has enjoyed growth, without innovation. Popular brands have introduced new flavours but no brand has considered such different product formats such as lentil or yellow pea.
Available in sharing and single bags, The Dormen Savouries mirror the pack design of the rest of the Dormen range. The RRP is £1.79 for sharing bags and £0.65 for single bags.
