Lees of Scotland extends teacake range
UK confectionery manufacturer Lees of Scotland has added to its teacake collection with the launch of its new Caramel Teacake.
The product addition follows the introduction of the Lees Mint Teacake in 2015 and the Lees Jaffa Teacake in 2013.
The new creation is made from caramel flavoured mallow on a biscuit base covered in a chocolate flavoured coating. Each pack contains 14 individual teacakes.
Sheevaun Thomas, new product development project manager at Lees of Scotland, says, “Lees Teacakes have been enjoyed by families for generations but we want to ensure we continue to appeal to new consumers by coming up with new variations on our original classic.
“We spent a lot of time developing this new caramel teacake product to meet the needs of our customers’ tastes. We’re sure our customers will enjoy this new product just as much as our full teacake range.”
The Lees Caramel Teacake is available at Morrisons stores across the UK.
