Buttermilk unveils Easter 2018 product lineup

UK confectioner Buttermilk is launching a new range of filled Easter eggs and hot cross bun flavoured fudge for Easter 2018.

The new handmade Easter eggs are available in strawberry bellini, caramel sea salt milk chocolate and dark chocolate and honeycomb flavours.

The first is a white chocolate egg infused with freeze-dried strawberry pieces and popping candy, which contains strawberry bellini fudge. The second flavour is a milk chocolate egg with butterscotch decoration, which includes caramel sea salt fudge infused with flakes of sea salt.

And inside the Belgian dark chocolate egg, which is drizzled with white chocolate, is honeycomb dipped in dark chocolate with honey and a dash of sea salt.

Buttermilk has also taken hot cross buns for its inspiration and created a new fudge.

Tracy McDonnell Goad, Buttermilk director, says, “We could not be more excited to launch our Easter range which is inspired by memories of traditional Easter eggs.

“With that in mind, we wanted to make a special treat that is filled with our delicious confectionery to create a truly memorable Easter Egg for children and adults alike without the disappointment of a hollow egg.”

All are gluten-free at a RRP of £11.99 each. The hot cross bun fudge costs £2.99. The products will be available at Waitrose, Booths, Debenhams, Moonpig, BP, National Trust online and Amazon.
