La Maison du Chocolat has unveiled its new Christmas collection.

A Midwinter Night’s Dream, created by Nicolas Cloiseau, master chef at La Maison du Chocolat, conjures up images of dashing reindeer and magical dreams of Christmas with his stunning hand-made pieces and beautiful coffrets.

Cloiseau is passionate about gourmandise and elegance. Chocolate has always been the inspiration, nourishment and fuel for the creativity of the signature brand of La Maison du Chocolat – a chocolate of “divine proportion”.

An astonishing display of savoir-faire and adventure describes this Midwinter Night’s Dream. With a nod to Christmas carols of yesteryear, it speaks to our inner child, and takes us on an adventure led by dashing reindeer.

The Midwinter Night’s Dream is a limited edition artistic showpiece, made entirely by hand and decorated on both sides. Composition: two finely crafted frameworks in dark chocolate, latticework of reindeer and stars chiselled in white chocolate, open disks of dark chocolate stars covered in gold leaf, roasted crunchy nuts of the mendiant (almonds from Valencia, pistachios from Sicily, hazelnuts from Piedmont, pecans, chocolate beads and nibs) set in milk chocolate.

The Reindeer is made entirely by hand. Composition: dark chocolate pendant, latticework of reindeer and chiselled stars in white chocolate, open disk with stars in dark chocolate covered in gold leaf, crunchy roasted nuts of mendiant (almonds from Valencia, pistachios from Sicily, hazelnuts from Piedmont, pecans, chocolate beads.

The Midwinter Night’s Dream Coffret Collection includes six new creations: Duo of pears: pears and milk chocolate ganache; Noire de Noir: pure origin dark chocolate from Madagascar; Blanc de Noir: dark chocolate ganache with Champagne Blanc de Noir; Noir Hazelnut: hazelnut praliné with crunchy slivers of hazelnuts from Piedmont; Nougat Dark & Nougat Creamy: fine layers of nougat enrobed in dark or milk chocolate.

Synonymous with elegance and celebrations, this new coffret features a duo of brut and rosé champagnes, and boasts the unique characteristics of lively, and acidulous bubbles of ganache, a prelude to the end of the year festivities. Composition: Milk chocolate rosé Champagne. Dark chocolate ganache with brut Champagne. Decorated with coloured sugars.
