Great tasting ice cream

Brighton based artisan gelateria Gelato Gusto is delighted to have received three Great Taste Awards this year: three stars for its Black Truffle and Honey Gelato, two stars for its Lychee & Rose Sorbetto and one star for its Pear & Parmesan Sorbetto.

As one of only 125 out of 10,000 entries to be awarded the prestigious 3 Star Award, Jon Adams, owner of Gelato Gusto comments: “We are delighted to receive such a highly sought after and well respected seal of approval. It is an honour to have our hard work so well received and recognised.”

Known for its innovative and experimental flavour combinations, the Gelato Gusto winning gelato has been created using honey from Adams’ family apiary based in Pitton, Wiltshire, giving the winning entry an extra special personal seal of approval.

Other flavours that were shortlisted include Gelato Gusto’s Ecuadorian Dark Chocolate, Lychee & Rose Sorbetto and Pear and Parmesan Sorbetto. To celebrate the award, Gelato Gusto has unveiled the design of its new wholesale tubs, which were designed by owner Adams. With a background in graphic design, he has used his experience to create labelling in line with Gelato Gusto’s traditional boutique and artisanal feel.
