Addition to baked puddings range
Pots & Co is launching a new flavour, Vanilla & Chocolate Pot, to complement its award winning range of puddings baked in ceramic pots.
Launched in response to consumer demand, the Vanilla & Chocolate Pot is now available in 197 Tesco stores and in 269 Waitrose stores.
Tapping into the trend for traditional flavour combinations, the new variant is a twist on the classic French crème brûlée, combining a smooth layer of chocolate ganache sat atop a generous base of Madagascan vanilla cream.
Julian Dyer, Pots & Co. Founder and CEO, comments: “Our new Vanilla & Chocolate Pot adds a classic flavour combination to our range of puddings that are soaring off the shelves as consumers look for quality ingredients and technique at a mainstream price point. We’re delighted that sales for the brand have more than doubled in 2015 and we predict that our turnover will reach double figures much earlier than anticipated.”
The new recipe will replace the summer variant of Strawberries & Cream and has been developed with the same passion, flair and meticulous attention to detail as the rest of the Pots & Co range, to ensure consumer demand for seasonal flavours is met, says the company.
Dyer continues: “We hope the new recipe will appeal to consumers looking for convenient, premium puddings that are both unique in flavour and design.”
The Vanilla & Chocolate Pot joins the current brand portfolio, which includes Salted Caramel & Chocolate Pot, Lemon & Lime Posset and Roasted Hazelnut & Chocolate Pot.
