Lindt raises profits on consumer demand

Swiss chocolate company Lindt & Spruengli notes in its latest financial report that strong demand has allowed it to raise its own prices. It reports profits up by almost a third and maintained its sales growth outlook for the year.

Swiss chocolate brand Barens launches in the UK

Barens Chocolate – an international Swiss confectionery brand – is launching into the UK market with its chocolate range Amador. Barens prides itself on using the finest ethically sourced, natural ingredients to produce its chocolates. Each 125g bag is made up of individually wrapped, filled milk chocolates, which are available in three popular flavours – mint, hazelnut and orange with RRP’s of £1.99.

Nuance opens Lindt store at Zürich airport

Travel retailer The Nuance Group has opened a new Lindt chocolate concept store at Zürich Airport in what it describes as a first for the travel retail industry. “The new store incorporates several new and unique elements, which have been developed to provide customers with a more personalised shopping experience,” says the company.
