Spar introduces luxury biscuit range

Retailer Spar has unveiled a range of three new all butter luxury cookies under its own brand.

The range includes three 200g variants: Fruit & Oat (RRP £1.59), Triple Belgian Chocolate and White Belgian Chocolate (both RRP £1.75).

Susan Darbyshire, brand director at Spar, said, “The biscuit market in the UK is worth more than £2.3 billion per year, with everyday treats offering the biggest growth in the sector.”

“These new additions to the range bring us bang up to date with our competitors, and bring shoppers a delicious afternoon or lunchtime treat at affordable prices.”

The cookies will be available in UK Spar stores from 3 November.
