A broad spread of Christmas confectionery gems has been unveiled by Hotel Chocolat, including a fan favourite Velvetiser Hot Drinking Chocolate Advent Calendar, writes Neill Barston.
The company has gained a strong reputation over the years for producing distinctive festive ranges, and this year’s offerings are no exception to that across its portfolio.
Its Velvetiser complete hot chocolate making system has continued to prove a key winner, with its specialised hot chocolate Christmas calendar among the stars of its show this year, among with wider choc calendar launches across milk, dark, caramel, as well as vegan offerings.
The series is topped off with its grand advent calendar, in which thick cacao-infused tipples and decorations reimagined into chocolate, which it has described as being “unapologetically extravagant.”
In addition, the company has released a number of selection boxes, which included its classic H-Box, featuring elegant collection of 14 festive and all-time favourites – fromCinnamon Bun to Illegal Gianduja via its Caramel Penguin.
Its equally distinctive “Sleekster” box comprises 28 classic comforts and seasonal recipes – from Hazelnut Praline to the company’s Caramel Clementine Supernova, as well as its H-Box winter puddings offering, which have been designed specially for the season.
The business has also offered plenty of fine quality stocking fillers this year, including its “Sleigh team’ in the form of ten chocolate reindeer created with 40% chocolate milk creating the perfect end-of-term treat, thank you presents, or a little me-time treat. There are also dark and white chocolate variants available of this line.
Keeping with the animal theme, its round ‘Portly chocolate penguins’ consisting of 40% milk chocolate offer another key novelty for the company, alongside a gingerbread men equivalent, and an enchanted forest series for good measure.
The company is also delivering an elegant gift comprising 18 signature Champagne truffles in three distinctive recipes; Classic, Pink and Kir Royale, along with some finishing treats in the form of mini chocolate Christmas crackers, which are among the stars of the wider festive portfolio for 2025.
