Thanks to our global subscribers – we hope to welcome even more in 2021

This week’s blog entry offers a simple note of thanks to all our subscribers who are a vital part of our ongoing coverage of the confectionery sector and its related markets.

Our title goes back a long way, to the mid 1930s to be precise, and having had the chance to see some of the earliest editions of the magazine, it’s certainly come a long way from its fledgling editions that were very much designed as classic, old-school technical journals.

So if you’ve read our present-day newsletters and have considered subscribing to our magazine and have yet to do so, I’d urge you to give us a try. We are confident the annual cost for our 10 print editions a year (at £122) is very competitive given the range of exclusive content we offer in each title.

These days things have moved on a little from our formative years, yet we of course pay a strong attention to relaying the latest information and interviews from our segment.

We like to hope there’s been a clear sense of evolution in terms of the scope of our title as we seek to bring you the best news, views and events from our ever-changing industry. Our small, yet dedicated team of contributors are experts in their field, which we believe is reflected in the quality of our reports, interviews and analysis.

Clearly, there’s always room for something a little different or new, so please do get in touch with any specific ideas that you may have on emerging areas of coverage or subject matter.

For the first time in our history we are about to embark on our World Confectionery Conference on 1, June, which is being hosted as a virtual event given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but we strongly believe that it will showcase some of the brightest and best initiatives across confectionery, bakery and snacks segments that have undergone huge challenges during the past year (see www.confectioneryconference.com) for more details on how to register (free) to attend this must see event.

So, if you’ve yet to put your name down for the conference, it will be well worth your while in doing so, with the host of sector representatives offering key insights, across equipment, systems, and leading global research that will shine a light on major issues facing the sector in 2021.

Here’s hoping you all continue to enjoy our industry coverage across our magazine, websites, video and social media, as we enter a fascinating period coming to terms with the historic and unprecedented conditions presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
