M&S commemorates VE Day with Spitfire shortbread

To mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day on 8 May 2020, M&S has created a limited edition commemorative Spitfire tin filled with Scottish shortbread.
During WWII, M&S colleagues supported the war effort by raising £5,000 towards a Spitfire plane, aptly named The Marksman, which takes pride of place on M&S’ new exclusive tin.
Since 2009, M&S has donated over £8.5 million to The Royal British Legion, and will now be donating 5% of total Spitfire tin sales to continue supporting the Armed Forces community.
