Ohso announces launch of probiotic chocolate bars into Ocado

Award-winning probiotic chocolate brand, Ohso, has launched its range of low-calorie chocolate bars into UK’s online grocery retailer, Ocado.
Ohso’s range of gut-friendly chocolate bars are available online now at Ocado, with four flavours to choose from: Dark (54% cocoa), Orange (54% cocoa), Dark No- Added Sugar (70% cocoa) Raspberry No Added-Sugar (70% cocoa). All products are suitable for vegetarians, gluten-free, nut safe and with no added dairy.
Carefully crafted using the finest quality and sustainably sourced ingredients, Ohso offers chocolate lovers a low-calorie, portion-controlled way to enjoy their daily dose of Belgian chocolate. Each pack contains seven (13.5g) individually-wrapped bars which are microencapsulated with over a billion live cultures (commonly known as probiotics) to boost gut health.
Studies have shown that probiotics help to balance the friendly bacteria in the gut which promotes digestive health and boosts the immune system. Probiotics are commonly associated with dairy products, however an independent study, conducted by the University of Ghent, has shown that by using a unique encapsulation process, Ohso chocolate can deliver live bacteria to the gut three times more effectively when compared to dairy products.
