The team at artisan confectioners Fudge Kitchen has brought back its popular Strawberries and Cream slab fudge, using a unique hand-crafted fudge recipe.

The seasonal fudge flavour is available now in their high-street shops and online, while stocks last. Throughout Wimbledon, Fudge Kitchen will be offering a free slice of Strawberries and Cream fudge on all orders over £20 online until 10 July. Each individual slab of fudge is priced at £6.50, a box of 4 slices for £17 or 6 for £22.

The Strawberries and Cream fudge is handmade using fresh whipping cream, vanilla bean paste and real British strawberries. You’ll find a fresh strawberry fudge on the lower layer, and a creamy light vanilla fudge on the outer layer – creating the perfectly sweet yet creamy combo. The strawberries are sourced as locally as possible to each of their shops, and chosen for the most intense, fruity flavour. The confectionery producers typically source their cream from independent local dairies in the counties where their shops are based. Fudge Kitchen shops can be found in Bath, Canterbury, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Windsor and York.

Fudge Kitchen’s marketing manager, Richard Parson, says “We’re known for keeping our flavour menu fresh and different for each season, and we’re always exploring new flavour combinations that we think our customers will love. The start of Wimbledon was a great opportunity to reintroduce our Strawberries and Cream fudge – made with Strawberries from farms around the UK.”

Fudge Kitchen have recently released their 2021/22 Giving Report, detailing their partnership with giving platforms B1G1 and Work for Good, which have enabled them to provide an exceptional positive impact not only to the environment, but to local and community initiatives too. As an SME they are leading the way when it comes to sustainability and conscious decisions for both people and the planet. Last year the business raised £15,000 in donations, creating 35,217 impacts for their chosen B1G1 causes. Most recently, for National Fudge Day on 16th June, Fudge Kitchen raised £1,296 for FareShare – which provided 5,184 meals.

The confectionery producer is nearing its 40th anniversary, and alongside its 6 high street shops and a flourishing online business, it also produces confectionery for some the UK’s most prestigious department stores.
