Divine Chocolate marks 25th anniversary with launch

Divine, the chocolate maker co-owned by cocoa farmers has announced the launch of a new Smooth Dark Chocolate Fruit and Nut sharing bar as its first new product for 2023, to mark the confectioner’s 25th anniversary.
A delicious combination of sweet, scrumptious raisins, crunchy hazelnuts and smooth dark chocolate, the bar is the perfect grown-up sweet treat to be enjoyed over the summer months and is available now from the Divine webshop for £2.49. It will also be available at selected* Oxfam stores from the end of this month.
The new sharing bar in the range has been developed using the highest quality ingredients, while ensuring great taste at the forefront of development. In a recent taste test conducted by Divine, 70% of chocolate testers stated they preferred the new Divine bar vs. their closest competitor.

Since its creation in 1998, Divine has always been co-owned by the Kuapa Kokoo Co-operative of Farmers, and the company has been empowering communities across Ghana. As co-owners of the business, the 100,000 members of Kuapa Kokoo receive a share of the distributable profits they help to create and have representation on the board, so every bar really does make a difference and improve the lives of farmers.
In the last 25 years, the company has also invested in numerous community projects aimed at upskilling women with adult literacy and numeracy classes and established pioneering programmes to work towards improved labour rights in the cocoa industry.
The Divine range features over 35 different products, including dark, milk and white chocolate sharing bars, individual bars and baking and drinking items.
