From 25 May, Gnaw will launch a new range of four 35g impulse chocolate bars, available in fully recyclable wrappers. The new selection includes the following milk chocolate flavours: Popcorn & Peanut, Honeycomb & Caramel, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Seville Orange.

The introduction of the impulse range forms part of Gnaw’s broader growth strategy, as the brand extends its presence beyond traditional confectionery and gifting aisles and into the impulse purchase category.

The new products are intended for a variety of retail and foodservice environments, including forecourts, coffee shops, airlines, department stores, delis, workplace food outlets, vending machines, gyms, cinemas and theatres. The range is also aimed at online retail and corporate gifting platforms.

According to Gnaw spokesperson, Josh Patterson, ‘We’re fortunate that our long-standing commitment to create NEW flavours in chocolate has tallied with many retailers’ ambitions to trade up and differentiate their impulse treat fixtures.’

Amid ongoing economic challenges and growing consumer interest in health-conscious products, there has been a noticeable rise in demand for brands that offer small, uplifting moments throughout the day. Products positioned as mid-morning snacks, brief indulgences, or convenient treats are gaining popularity, particularly those that align with a balanced lifestyle.

Josh concludes, ‘We’ve thought for some that the Gnaw story deserves to be told beyond the confectionery fixture, which is why a move into Impulse couldn’t be ignored any longer.’
