Gnaw launches new Cherry & Almond Tart and Spiced Apple Strudel chocolate bars

Gnaw Chocolate
English Heritage has reported a decline in the tradition of making classic British puddings at home. Its recent findings show that only 2% of households prepare a homemade pudding daily, while 62% rarely or never make them. The report notes that while traditional desserts such as crumbles, pies, and steamed puddings remain popular, they are increasingly being replaced by chilled desserts and lighter options.
In response to this trend, Norfolk-based chocolate manufacturer Gnaw has expanded its range of pudding-inspired chocolate bars, a collection it introduced last year with flavours such as New York Cheesecake, Banoffee Pie, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Gingerbread.
This year, Gnaw is introducing two new seasonal varieties:
Spiced Apple Strudel – milk chocolate with biscuit, cinnamon, date, and apple flavouring.
Cherry & Almond Tart – milk chocolate with almond, biscuit, and cherry flavouring, inspired by a 19th-century puff pastry dessert associated with the White Horse Inn in Bakewell.
The new products are available from Gnaw’s website.
