Popcorn Kitchen takes the biscuit with its latest festive favourite

Popcorn Kitchen introduces gingerbread-inspired popcorn to its range, following the previous dessert-led variants such as lemon drizzle cake, blueberry muffin, bakewell tart, and chocolate brownie.
Gingerbread, with its roots in medieval spice trade and traditional British baking, brings a familiar blend of ginger, cinnamon, and cloves—flavours often associated with the festive period. Pressed gingerbread men was actually a trend created back in the court of Queen Elizabeth 1, who was quite insistent that fresh ‘man cookies’ were baked in the likeness of visiting dignitaries.
According to Popcorn Kitchen spokesperson, ‘Having historically tapped into the public’s favourite great cake and ‘pud’ memories, we felt now was the moment was ripe to delve deep within the biscuit barrel.’
The new Gingerbread flavour is available in 30g packs with an RRP of £1.69.
