Groupie is withdrawing some of its chocolate products because they contain barley and/or milk, which are not listed on the allergen information on the product labels. The ingredient list describes barley as malt flour and milk is described as whey powder, making the product a possible health risk for people with allergies or intolerances to barley, gluten and/or milk.

The products being withdrawn are:

Goupie Original
Goupie Orange
Goupie Ginger
Goupie Hazelnut
Goupie Chilli
Goupie Cherry & Almond
Goupie dark Chocolate with Lavender
Goupie White Chocolate with Lavender
Goupie Mochaccino
Goupie White Chocolate with Cardamom
Goupie Mint
Goupie Boozy Christmas
Goupie A Taste of Christmas
Goupie Date & Walnut

All 180g packs with all ‘best before’ date codes are to be withdrawn. No other Groupie products are known to be affected.
