Seasonal support for charity

Over the Christmas holidays, House of Dorchester donated a 5kg pure chocolate Santa to the Children’s Trust, a charity supporting children with brain injuries, which it has been supporting for more than a decade.
In addition to the edible Santa, House of Dorchester’s Commercial Manager Annie Carter delivered more than a thousand packs of chocolate Shimmer Snowballs and 130 Tasty Chocolate Gifting Boxes, as well as a cheque for £500.
Melanie Bowman, Senior Corporate Fundraiser, said: “House of Dorchester is a long standing supporter of The Children’s Trust and we are thrilled to have the company’s ongoing commitment. In addition to a generous cheque of £500, £375 was raised as a result of a raffle and donations made for House of Dorchester Christmas chocolates. House of Dorchester’s support helps us to provide expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care to children and families across the UK affected by brain injury. 2014 is a landmark year for The Children’s Trust as we celebrate our 30th anniversary – we are delighted to have House of Dorchester’s loyal support.”
