Popcorn sharing cartons

Butterkist is launching its Toffee and Sweet flavor popcorns in 325g and 225g sharing cartons respectively. The cartons have a pull and tear strip to create a sharing popcorn bucket, and have been developed in a bid to tap into the growing home cinema trend.

Helena Blincow, Butterkist Brand Manager, said: “The Sharing Cartons really tap into the growing trend of people wanting to re-create the screening experience from the comfort of their own homes. These sharing cartons provide the ideal sharing solution for families and friends.

The new popcorn cartons make their market debuts in May and will retail at £2.49.
