Willie Harcourt-Cooze has launched a new range of 26g bars; this will make seven of his most popular flavours available for impulse purchase in places like cafes and coffee bars at an RRP of £1.00. All the chocolate is made ‘bean to bar’ from single estate cacaos in Willie’s chocolate factory in Devon.
The sleepy village of Rio Caribe lies on the magical Caribbean coast of the Paria Peninsula. The extraordinary cacao grown there has astonishing depth of flavour with its coffee and nut notes.
“I make all my chocolate from ‘bean to bar’ using the world’s great single estate cacaos, which like fine wines all taste remarkably different. We are all about flavour, so give our beans a light roast to preserve their natural flavour characteristics, and use natural cocoa butter and raw cane sugar. We add nothing more, not even vanilla or soya lecithin,” says Harcourt-Cooze.
The range includes: Negro, with Colombian 70 dark chocolate; Luscious Orange, with Cuban 65 dark chocolate; Milk of the Gods, Rio Caribe 44, milk chocolate; Sea Flakes, with Rio Caribe 44 milk chocolate; and El Blanco, white chocolate.
