The strength of in-store bakeries

The in-store baking industry is one of the fastest growing bakery sectors in Europe and inclusions specialists Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe), has extended its range of products to help it respond to retailers’ demands for a wider range of ingredients.

The company has developed its one gram solid chocolate monkey and pig faces to retain their intricate design details and be stored at ambient temperatures to be used as cake toppers. The collection of fruit fudges now include lemon and lime pieces, bake stable miniature fudge pieces made from natural flavourings and colourings. Pecan’s portfolio of over 250 ingredients includes praline pecan nuts, toffee pieces, filled chocolates, truffle pieces, fudge brownies, ribbon sauces and honeycomb pieces.
