Exclusive: Ferrero enters the Christmas spirit with expanded portfolio

Ferrero has well and truly entered the festive spirit with its latest array of Rocher products that have hit shelves across major markets including the US, and within the UK, writes Neill Barston.
Within America, as with British audiences, the company has made its flagship range available in 12 piece and 24-piece holiday boxes, as well as a special 17 item pyramid to form a key festive talking point.
In addition, for the US, the company has revealed its Raise A Rocher platform, a key campaign designed to elevate holidays, milestones, and everyday achievements alike into moments worthy of a toast.
The marketing drive is across television, digital video and social platforms, highlighting a different Ferrero Rocher product in a unique moment of celebration, capturing the breadth of the brand.
Juan Mejia, vice president of Premium Chocolate at Ferrero, welcomed its festive celebrations.
He said: “Ferrero Rocher has always stood for elevating life’s little luxuries, and with Raise A Rocher, we’re inviting everyone to celebrate in big and small ways,.
“Whether it’s a holiday gathering with loved ones, celebrating a career milestone, or enjoying a well-deserved pause, every moment deserves to be honoured – and wrapped in gold.”
Thorntons and Nutella exclusives
As the company added, it is pulling out the stops to deliver some festive joy to homes across the UK, in revealing a selection of seasonal products from its core brands.
This Christmas sees notable releases from Nutella, Kinder, Ferrero Rocher, and Thorntons through advent calendars, stocking fillers and premium chocolate bar offerings.
This includes some notable traction for its Nutella advent calendars, that have offered a colourful addition to its seasonal offerings and set the scene for a fine Christmas ahead.
For its part, with over 100 years of chocolate-making expertise, Thorntons combines beloved flavours with luxurious new-look packaging to create gifts that feel truly thoughtful.
Thorntons’ most-loved Classic chocolates are a celebration of British tastes, offering flavours that span gooey caramel and fudge brownie, to strawberries & cream, which remain seasonal favourites.
Among its stars is the Continental box welcomes back the much-loved Viennese Truffle, a fan favourite that has returned by popular demand, alongside the addition of the new decadent Crème Brûlée, bringing even more variety and sophistication. Thorntons’ Continental chocolates are created with specially developed recipes inspired by the tastes of Europe, using quality, carefully selected ingredients
Have a ‘deer-lightful’ Christmas with Thorntons’ delicious milk chocolate characters, with a brand-new pack design. Whether it’s the Cheeky Reindeer, complete with a festive red gift, or the playful Chocolate Elf, accented with white and green decorations, each character is carefully crafted from Thorntons’ smooth milk chocolate and finished with intricate detailing for good festive measure.
Furthermore, there’s plenty of Christmas cheer to be found within the company’s Kinder brand, with several key advent calendars having been among its core offering.
It is also introducing Chocoballs, a brand-new treat available in two key flavours. Each twist-wrapped piece is coated in fine milk chocolate and filled with a milky creamy centre, offering a satisfying crunch in every bite. The Milk & Crispy variety features crispy cookie bits, while the Hazelnut flavour is packed with real hazelnut pieces for a nutty twist.
