This is just the briefest of blogs to once again wish all our readers the best for the festive season and New Year – may 2026 be a happy, engaging and memorable one for you all.

Thanks again for your excellent support of our magazine, website and our annual conference, which will once again be returning for next year, with the event moving to London on 10 September (so make sure to take advantage of all our early bird rates via confectioenryconference.com

But for now, just to add, please do keep all those news stories, feature ideas and commentary coming in our direction – our title can only ever be as good as the level of engagement we have from across the global confectionery and snacking industry, so we love to hear your stories.

Whether that’s major corporate news developments, or news items relating to individual success, or triumphs for SME enterprises, these stories are all equally valuable, so please do get in touch with your latest updates to me personally at [email protected] and we will do our very best to include your contributions.

While there are many positive things happening right across our sector, we also don’t shy away from tackling difficult or potentially challenging issues, so no matter is too large or small – so please do keep in touch!

Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year, best wishes, Neill Barston, editor, Confectionery Production magazine
