Aldi launches new Easter trifle

Supermarket Aldi has given the traditional trifle an Easter-themed makeover in its new dessert offering.

The Oozy Egg Trifle has a base of milk chocolate mousse, a soft chocolate sponge centre and is topped with a layer of fresh cream and fondant which gives the the top of the trifle the appearance of an egg yolk.

Aldi’s new trifle will be available in UK stores from 6 April 2020, priced at £1.99 (550g).
