Cheetham Bell helps launch first national TV campaign for new Swizzles offering

The new TV commercial features the character Mr Swizzles, an 'eccentric sweet inventor'.

Cheetham Bell has created a new TV commercial for sweet manufacturer Swizzels to launch its new Great British Puds Chew Bars. It will introduce for the first time Mr Swizzels, the eccentric sweet inventor who excitedly reveals how he’s created his latest delicious product.

Martin Smith, creative director at Cheetham Bell, said: “We’re very excited to finally introduce Mr Swizzels. He represents everything that’s fun and wonderfully British about the Swizzels brand. We look forward to him inventing even more wacky creations in the future!”

The magical world was created by The Beglan Brothers who seamlessly blended stop motion, live action and computer generated animation.

The extensive TV campaign runs across a range of major UK TV channels including ITV, Channel 4 and Sky One during popular shows such as Good Morning Britain, Sunday Brunch and Come Dine With Me. It’s part of an extensive multi-channel campaign which includes PR, social media, digital advertising, sampling and influencer outreach.
