Joe & Seph’s launches premium popcorn bar range

North London based popcorn makers, Joe & Seph’s, is famed the world over for its luxurious, handmade caramel popcorn; after ten years of producing the world’s best-tasting popcorn, the family of gourmet popcorn chefs have amassed a huge 67 Great Taste Awards.
September 2020 sees the brand launch the UK’s first premium Popcorn Bar range (RRP £2 per 27g bar). With a five-strong selection, snack fans can expect a breadth of flavours: Salted Caramel & Nuts; Coconut & Peanut; Chocolate & Almond; Apple & Hazelnut and Orange, Pecan & Cinnamon.
The first of their kind, the bars marry satiating nuts and decadent ingredients with Joe & Seph’s renowned gourmet popcorn. Founder Joseph Sopher reportedly created the new bars after many late nights experimenting in his kitchen. Joseph’s small team of pastry chefs lovingly air-pop “extra-large” mushroom kernels, which are coated by hand in Joe & Seph’s salted caramel sauce; they’re then combined with wholesome oats and tasty accents, like coconut, nuts and fruit, and set in individual bars.
Joe & Seph’s says its new Popcorn Bars make a delicious and wholesome snack. Coming in at under 138kcals, the gluten free bars are a source of fibre and are handmade in London with all-natural, kitchen cupboard ingredients.
Since founding Joe & Seph’s back in 2010 with his wife, Jackie, and sons, Adam and Paul, Sopher has wanted to create a range that is nourishing enough for everyday snacking. He says: “After investigating the growing snack bar category, I noticed a significant gap for a premium Popcorn Bar! So, I began experimenting and am proud to have created a Popcorn Bar that perfectly balances gourmet taste with health and on-the-go convenience!”
