Grenade launches Carb Killa Ice Cream

Performance nutrition brand Grenade has launched its first ever frozen treat – a low sugar, high protein ice cream bar to help support fitness goals.

Without compromising on taste, Carb Killa Ice Cream contains over 6.5g protein, less than 1.7g sugar and is only 120 calories per bar*, so it won’t ruin gym goers’ hard work.

Grenade head of product Rob Page said: “With our Carb Killa protein bar the UK’s best-selling since 2016, we’re delighted to be able to offer the same great taste in an even ‘cooler’ form. Having received countless requests over the years, we expect consumer appetite to be high, so we may well launch additional flavours later down the line. Watch this space!”

Ideal as a post-workout snack (or just a low sugar treat to enjoy in the sun), the new, vegetarian-friendly Carb Killa Ice Cream launches in two flavours: White Chocolate Cookie and Peanut Nutter.

White Chocolate Cookie comprises vanilla protein ice cream with a chocolate sauce, topped with a layer of chocolate cookie crumb, and covered in smooth white milk chocolate.

Peanut Nutter comprises caramel protein ice cream with a caramel sauce, topped with a layer of roasted peanuts, and covered in smooth milk chocolate.

Carb Killa Ice Cream is available now as a pack of four individually wrapped ice cream bars, RRP £5 from Tesco, and will also be available through company-owned Blakemore convenience stores.
