This April, British jam brand Fearne & Rosie is expanding its reduced sugar range with a new Mango Preserve, made with 70% fruit. The product will launch on Ocado from 23rd April, with availability at Holland & Barrett expected later this year. It will also be sold via the brand’s website, fearneandrosie.co.uk (RRP £3.30 / 310g jar).
The Mango Preserve is made using one whole mango per jar and is formulated with a focus on higher fruit content and reduced sugar. Like the rest of the Fearne & Rosie range, it contains 40% less sugar than standard jams and is made with all-natural ingredients. The preserve is high in fibre, contains vitamin C, and is a source of antioxidants. It is suitable for a variety of uses, including spreading, baking, and stirring into recipes.
Fearne & Rosie founder Rachel Kettlewell, said, “We’re pleased to introduce a mango flavour to the range. The jam category has long been centred on traditional flavours, and this launch offers an alternative that may appeal to both new and existing consumers. Our aim is to provide a lower sugar option without compromising on taste.”
Fearne & Rosie was established in November 2019 by Rachel Kettlewell with the goal of offering more nutritious and family-friendly food products. The brand reports it is currently the fastest growing jam brand in UK grocery, with 158% year-on-year growth.
In addition to its product development, Fearne & Rosie is a certified B Corporation and donates a minimum of 2% of its revenue to charitable organisations, including partnerships with Children in Need and FareShare. The company also supports food education through its work with schools.
