Bespoke flavours for puddings

Desserts are the inspiration behind the latest new products from inclusions and toppings specialist Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe), which is handling an increasing number of orders for bespoke combinations of flavours and sauces for pudding-based bakery applications.

The company’s huge range of bake-stable inclusions and decorations are not only being included in delicious desserts in the most innovative of ways, but desserts are also providing inspiration for new muffin and cookie creations, such as Strawberry Fields Forever (using Pecan Deluxe’s bake-stable strawberry fudge, strawberry sugar pearls and Halal micro mallows) and Banana Drama (bake-stable treacle fudge with banana sugar pearls and chocolate coated shortcake biscuits).

Pecan Deluxe is an expert within the ice-cream and frozen desserts market and also supplies cookie dough pieces in a range of sizes, which feature in many household name premium ice creams as well as QSR and gastro-pub desserts. It also adds value to an array of other desserts such as sundaes and gateaux as well as to quality ice creams and other chilled or frozen ‘sweets’.

All Pecan Deluxe products are made entirely of natural ingredients in segregated facilities, including baked cookie pieces which are the latest addition to an already massive range, available in a selection of flavours including double choc chip and fruit/spice combinations.

Pecan Deluxe commercial director Graham Kingston explained: “It’s fascinating to see the way that muffins, cookies and doughnuts have evolved into mouth-watering works of art. We have anticipated these trends and are continually investing in new product development, to meet demand from across the world for premium quality toppings and inclusions that create a point of difference and enhance the consumer experience.
