First liquid hot chocolate

Sweet Freedom has announced the launch of Choc Shot, the first hot chocolate not made from powder and the first natural liquid chocolate in a top down squeezy bottle.

Due to hit the supermarket shelves from September, this new product has already secured five nationwide retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose and Ocado equating to over 1,500 stores from launch. The first 100% natural liquid chocolate, Choc Shot will also be available via wholesale with stockists including Whole Foods and health food stores nationally.

Choc Shot ensures consumers can enjoy a smooth hot chocolate without powdery lumps; simply squeeze and stir into hot milk. In consumer trials the taste has been described as ‘amazing’ and ‘chocolatier standard’. What makes Choc Shot a stand out product is its supreme versatility as it can be drizzled over fruit from bananas and strawberries to pears and raspberries as well as porridge, toast, ice cream and pancakes. It’s also ideal for making milkshakes and can be used as an ingredient with many applications.

Sweetened only with Sweet Freedom, the natural sugar alternative made 100% from fruit, Choc Shot is also a healthier option with just 14 calories a teaspoon.  As well as being made from 100% natural ingredients, it has a low GL making it a good choice for dieters and diabetics along with consumers looking for healthier options. With free from credentials including  dairy, gluten and GM free, it’s also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
