‘Solid Bar’ hot chocolate

Tesco and Waitrose are set to stock Hasslacher’s ‘Solid Bar’ Columbian Hot Chocolate Discs from mid-February this year. M&S has been stocking the Solida Bar drinking chocolate for a number of months.

“It’s taken two years to build the trust of one of Colombia’s best known companies, CasaLuker, that makes the hot chocolate we wanted for Hasslacher’s”, Jim Campbell, Hasslacher’s UK-based MD comments. “At first they saw us as small fry but orders have steadily increased and we are now bringing in full containers of over 20 tons of 100% cacao at a time”.

Hasslacher’s now has an exclusive agreement in place to market and distribute the company’s chocolate consumer products in Europe, China and the USA.
