Gravity deposited lollipops

The Original Gourmet Food Company has recently received a US patent for its gravity-deposited lollipop manufacturing process.

The new 10.5g gravity deposited gourmet lollipops will be available for the first time this September. Original Gourmet flavours are available in this smaller pop size, which is ideal for sharing, and more comfortable for some consumers than the large 31g lollipops. The sphere pops feature the candy in clear film wrappers and are displayed in windowed bags to help consumers recognise their favourite flavours.

Flavours and appearance are consistently evaluated and new flavours developed by a team of panelists and food scientists. Other lollipop marketers have emerged, bringing Chinese and Mexican spherical lollipops to retailers, but consumers place value on the fact that the Original Gourmet lollipop is made in the US, Kosher certified and peanut free.
