Sports star gets on board

The Raw Chocolate Company is delighted to announce the signing of award winning snowboarder Kjersti Buaas as its first brand ambassador.
Having qualified for her fourth successive Olympic Games, Kjersti will feature in the Raw Chocolate Company’s marketing campaign, which will run across online channels and print media, promoting its wide range of delicious and natural products.
“Kjersti is a strong, vibrant woman who lives life to the full; she is a great role model for others and we believe she is the perfect ambassador for the Raw Chocolate Company. We feel Kjersti embodies our ethics when it comes to healthy living, taking care of the environment and most importantly – she loves our raw chocolate bars as much as we do!” says Linus Gorpe, founder of the Raw Chocolate Company.
Kjersti is a snowboarder from Norway and is a keen supporter of Protect Our Winters and the Keep-A-Breast Foundation, among other charitable causes. She won a bronze medal in the 2006 Winter Olympics and earlier this year came first in the BA Community Cup in Colorado. Her other career highlights include winning three medals at the prestigious X Games and being voted the “Queen of Style” by Onboard magazine. As well as competing on the international snowboarding stage, Kjersti is a keen photographer, short film director and a passionate advocate of eating clean and healthily.
“As a professional athlete it has always been important for me to treat my body the best way I possibly can, to be able to perform at a top level in my sport,” says Kjersti. “Today, food has become my medicine, my energiser, my fuel. I’m so honoured to be an athlete ambassador for the Raw Chocolate Company, it all makes perfect sense.”
