Gluten free shortbread
Walkers Shortbread has launched three gluten free products.
The gluten free range will be produced using a specialist flour blend and has received the certified accreditation from Coeliac UK adhering to all regulated manufacturing processes and ingredient labelling ensuring consumers, especially those living with coeliac disease, can be confident and assured.
Walkers gluten free offering, which is also suitable for Vegetarians and certified Kosher OUD, launches at the end of October with an RRP £2.50 and will comprise of: Gluten Free Pure Butter Shortbread (140g): a classic pure butter shortbread offering a crumbly “melt-in-your-mouth” texture; Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Shortbread (140g): A generous helping of chocolate chips providing a rich and luxurious complement to the classic shortbread; Gluten Free Ginger & Lemon Shortbread (140g): A crumbly shortbread combining the best of traditional Scottish baking with the exotic tang of stem ginger and lemon.
