Destiny Foods has added to its extensive range with a new product line.

The new Mini Dessert Slice Selection brings together all of Destiny Foods’ best-selling creations, including zesty citron slices, cherry frangipane, baked cookie cheesecakes, pecan tarts and rich chocolate brownies. The assortment has been designed to offer the ultimate afternoon tea experience, with a wide range of delicious flavours and textures to enjoy.

The introduction of the new Mini Dessert Slice Selection follows the success of the North West based business’ English and French Style Tea Time Selection boxes, brought to the market earlier this year. Destiny has seen high demand for its tea time ranges from customers across the hotel, restaurant, sport and leisure sectors, in line with the enduring afternoon tea trend. Current sales of Destiny’s tea time products during 2014 stand at £1m.

The business has experienced a strong year of growth and investment across both of its Manchester sites. This includes investing £2m in state-of-the-art equipment and a site extension, as well as making a number of notable new appointments to its product development and manufacturing teams. These investments will further increase capacity and efficiency at Destiny as the business continues to penetrate new markets, the latest being the airline industry.
