Nutella ice cream treats

American ice cream manufacturer Carvel is re-launching a line of ice cream treats incorporating Ferrero’s Nutella hazelnut spread.

From 14 March through 31 May 31 customers can visit participating Carvel shops to enjoy five ice cream desserts with Nutella, a spread made from roasted hazelnuts, skim milk and a hint of cocoa.

The full line of treats includes:

• New Thick Shake featuring soft ice cream with Nutella hazelnut spread and topped with whipped cream and Nutella
• Hand-Scooped Chocolate Ice Cream layered with Nutella hazelnut spread and Carvel Crunchies, then topped with Nutella
• Soft Ice Cream made with Nutella hazelnut spread
• Sundae Dasher with Banana – Layers of soft ice cream made with Nutella hazelnut spread and Carvel Crunchies topped with whipped cream and Nutella
• Sundae Dasher with Chocolate Crunchies – Layers of soft ice cream made with Nutella hazelnut spread and bananas topped with whipped cream and Nutella.

“Our guests went nuts when we debuted our fresh Carvel ice cream with Nutella this past summer,” says Carvel President Scott Colwell. “We knew we had to bring the line of desserts back, and this spring, we’re excited to mix it up by introducing a new Thick Shake made with the hazelnut spread.”
