Ferrero store makeover

Ferrero has announced the winner of its UK nationwide £3,000 store makeover competition, Bina Mistry of Mick and Jenny’s store in Sheffield.
The competition kicked off during Diwali 2014 in over 40 wholesale depots and entrants were required to install a Ferrero Christmas display in their store and share an image of the result. Bina Mistry was selected out of hundreds of registered entries and has received a £3,000 store makeover, with bespoke fitted window designs and a variety of display options, to drive impulse purchases for gifting in the lead up to Easter.
Levi Boorer, customer development director, comments, “By simply registering for a free POS kit within her local depot, Parfetts Cash & Carry, Sheffield, Bina implemented a fantastic in-store display, making her a worthy winner of the £3,000 store makeover. She fully utilised the products and POS solutions, driving additional sales for her store during the busy Christmas period.”
Store owner, Bina Mistry, comments, “We are over the moon with our Ferrero store makeover, it is clean, professional and visually striking – it is definitely going to help us have an edge over the mults. There’s been a real buzz around the store since the makeover with customers asking questions and just being more engaged with the store. It is always harder for small stores to stand out and it’s great that Ferrero is doing something to help us. We are already planning how we can attract more customers with the new display and are thinking of launching a special giveaway around Easter time. Thank you Ferrero for such a fantastic opportunity!”
In addition to the winning prize, 20 runners-up were acknowledged with a free 96 piece Ferrero Rocher Cone – perfect for grabbing the attention of shoppers in the confectionery aisle.
