Emily Fruit Crisps has won a star in the Great Taste Awards for Crunchy Apple Crisps. Founder of the brand Emily Wong comments “I am pleased as punch and beyond proud that that the apple of my eye, our Crunchy Apple Fruit Crisps have won a Great Taste Award! It’s so exciting for a new brand and it carries a significant cache on shelf. It’s been a fantastic year for Emily. We’ve just secured listings with Ocado and Holland & Barrett and this award – hopefully the first of many – really is an amazing honour.’

Now available on Ocado and at all Holland & Barrett stores across the UK in three flavours – Crunchy Apple, Crunchy Banana and Crunchy Pineapple – Emily Fruit Crisps combine all the goodness of real fruit with the satisfying crunch of a crisp and are designed to be enjoyed as a quick pick-me-up snack, alternative to crisps, topping for yogurt or porridge or even as an ingredient in home baking.
Wong believes that you don’t have to compromise on taste and texture to enjoy healthier snacking.
“We’re part of a movement that values pleasure as much as health,” she says. “Just because you want to look after yourself doesn’t mean you have to be punished at the same time. Snacking is good for you and it should be fun! The fruit ‘crisps’ I had tried in the UK were dry and tasteless. I wanted to make something that was vibrant, exciting and just delicious.”
Using only two ingredients – fruit and a touch of oil – at just 134 calories per 30g pack, they have half the fat content of even the skinniest popcorn, four times less fat than the average fried potato crisp and contain absolutely no ‘nasties’ – no added sugar, additives or preservatives.
Emily Fruit Crisps come in three flavours: Crunchy Pineapple; Crunchy Banana; Crunchy Apple.
