Real Handful gains new listings

Snacking start-up Real Handful has secured new listings with retailers Boots and Booths for its trail mix inspired snacks.

Boots is set to stock the company’s Mochaccino and Strawberries & Cream flavours across 485 UK stores, and the products will be included in the retailer’s meal deal. North West-based Booths will stock the same flavours across its 28 upmarket grocery stores.

Real Handful already has listings with Ocado, Holland & Barrett and a number of Foodservice groups, which it says reflects consumer demand for healthier snack options both in and out of home.

Founder Joe Taylor, said, “It’s been a hugely positive first six months for the business with distribution growing all the time and even more exciting plans for the future.”

He added, “Consumer response has been fantastic, validating our assumption that consumers don’t want to compromise on taste when reaching for a healthier snack. It’s a great feeling that big retailers who have taken a liking to Real Handful, have seen their vote of confidence translate into strong sales.”

Real Handful says the 40g snacks contain natural flavours and high quality ingredients. With an RSP of £1.19, the range also includes Go-Go-Goji Berries, Mixed Berry Crunch, Blood Orange and Dark Chocolate, and Blueberry Blitz variants.
