Limited edition Christmas Domonuts
London artisan donutterie, Dum Dum Doughnuts, has created three limited edition Christmas Domonuts to celebrate the start of the holiday season. The SantaDomonut, Abominable Domonut and Rudolph the Red Nosed Domonut are handmade using natural ingredients and are the image of pop culture creature Domo. The festive treats will be available in all East London Dum Dum Doughnut stores and online at www.dumdums.co.uk until 31 December 2015.
The Santa Domonut is made from decadent layers of chocolate croissant dough, filled with dulce de leche buttercream and dipped in dark chocolate ganache. Santa’s hat and Domo’s iconic, saw-toothed mouth have been cleverly crafted using natural red and white fondant icing, while the eyes are chocolate fondant.
The Abominable Domonut is a classic, baked doughnut filled with raspberry buttercream and dusted with icing sugar.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Domonut is a classic, baked doughnut packed with vanilla buttercream and covered in dark chocolate ganache. The reindeer’s most famous feature, his bright red nose, is a red M&M and pretzels represent his antlers.
