3D fruit gums arrive in Paris

After it’s successful launch in Berlin in 2015, the Magic Candy Factory – a 3D printer for fruit gum – has now appeared in France. Lutti – a sweets company owned by Katjes International GmbH & Co KG – presented the innovation in the form of a pop up store in Paris from 15-17 January.

Paris was overwhelmed by the new magic and stood in line to get one of the customised, 3D printed gummy candies, says the company –over 200 pieces were sold at Lutti’s Lab Créatif in the hip Marais district during the two days .

“We are very happy about this amazing weekend in Paris and couldn’t have wished for more. All visitors were keen to know about the innovation – the technology same as the ingredients and loved to take pictures and videos. We certainly are sure it was the right step to bring the magic to this wonderful city,” says Melissa Snover, managing director of Katjes Fassin UK Ltd.
