Roots & Wings introduces traditional treats

Artisan brand Roots & Wings has introduced a taking a collection of nostalgic treats. Made by hand in Britain, the collection includes boiled sweeties, fudge & toffee.

The master sweet makers in West Yorkshire use the finest organic ingredients including cane sugar with caramel undertones to make the vintage treats.  Using local produce is a vital ingredient, so the fudge & toffee use butter and cream made from Shorthorn cattle, a specialist breed found originally in the North East of England.  And here is the collection:

Lemon Sherbets – Zingy with zesty organic lemon oil

Mint Humbugs – Gently warming with aromatic organic mint oil

Barley Sugar: Soothing sweets with a dash of organic lemon oil

Butter Fudge: Rich with churned organic butter & cream

Toffee: Toffee with organic butter & cream
