Booker records growth above inflation

Booker has continued to outpace the grocery multiples and record growth well above inflation.

Wholesaler Booker has reported that sales are up by 6.5% on a like-for-like basis, and 7.6% overall, in the 12 weeks to 9 September. Earlier this week, Kantar Worldpanel figures showed the grocery retail market grew by 4.5% in the 12 weeks to 4 September.

“Customers have rewarded us with an increased share of their spend and the number of customers has increased. Our plans to drive and broaden Booker are on track,” says Booker chief executive Charles Wilson.
