Nestlé Confectionery’s Rowntree’s brand is to launch a new product aimed at mums – Rowntree’s Fruit Bottles.

Available from 2nd April, Rowntree’s Fruit Bottles offer a fruity new twist on old favourites such as milk bottles and cola bottles. They provide nostalgic appeal for mums who remember the sweets they enjoyed in their own childhoods.

With 25% fruit juice and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, the product is a low risk purchase for mums and therefore retailers can expect a high level of trial.  What’s more, as they deliver Rowntree’s great fruity flavour, they are bound to be back for more!

Rowntree’s Fruit Bottles will be available in two pack formats. The 45g impulse bag and a 150g sharing bag.

Nestlé UK trade communications manager Graham Walker says, “Rowntree’s Fruit Bottles is an exciting new launch from a brand which has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years.  As the perfect impulse purchase, retailers should be sure to stock up at launch and display prominently so mums don’t miss them. We also recommend dual siting with magazines, such as gossip weeklies, for extra sales.”
