Pack refresh for Cathedral City Baked Bites

Burton’s Biscuit Company has announced a design refresh and launched a sharing format for its savoury biscuit brand, Cathedral City Baked Bites.
Made by Burton’s under license from Dairy Crest, the brand will benefit from new pack designs aligning the range with the Cathedral City masterbrand.
The company is also introducing a Cathedral City Baked Bites sharing box. Launching into Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, the product will be available in case sizes of 10, priced at £1.50 ($1.80).
“By aligning our pack designs with the Cathedral City masterbrand we have a unique opportunity to drive growth within the savoury snacking category with the nation’s favourite cheese, a household brand that’s instantly recognisable amongst shoppers,” says David Costello, head of category and shopper management at Burton’s Biscuit Company.
“Similarly, by introducing the Cathedral City Baked Bites Sharing Box, we’re helping retailers tap into the snack foods opportunity, with evening snacking being the most common consumption occasion for share packs.”
