Nom Foods announces Waitrose listing

Nom Foods has secured its first supermarket listing, launching in Waitrose.

Founded by Steph Croft-Simon in 2013, Nom will be part of a range of gluten- and dairy free products launching in the supermarket’s free from aisle.

Multipacks of the Original and Cacao & Raspberry oat bars will be rolled out in stores across the UK, with packs retailing at £3.49.

Nom bars are made with jumbo oats, dates, seeds and coconut palm blossom – a natural and unrefined sugar source, with a caramel taste and low GI. All products are certified by the Soil Association and display the Vegan Society logo and the Ethical Company logo.

Croft-Simon says, “We have had a busy couple of months preparing for the launch and we’re delighted to finally see the bars on shelf.

“Our mission is all about making it easier for customers to put good, nourishing food into their bodies. By good, I don’t just mean healthy. By establishing core values, Nom can ensure: optimum nutrition for the customer, better pay for the farmers who grow the ingredients in our products, GMO-free crops, sustainable methods of farming and manufacture and no animal cruelty.”
