Launch of bottom-coated chocolate pretzels
UK pretzel company Penn State Snacks is preparing the launch of its half-coated milk chocolate pretzel range this autumn. The pretzels will be packaged in share-size snack packs, each 100g bag retailing at £2.49, and are set to be on display at Morrisons and Waitrose stores this autumn.
Steve Harger, from Intersnack, the company behind the Penn State brand says, “Our team behind the scenes have worked hard to create a new product which uses advanced technology to produce the bottom-coated milk chocolate pretzels.”
Despite their chocolate exterior, as a baked snack and only 110 calories per 25g serving, the pretzels still offer consumers a healthier alternative to crisps and other snack foods. Chocolate Pretzels will be available to buy in Morrisons in October and Waitrose in November.
