Cavalier to launch stevia chocolate

Belgian chocolate company Cavalier plans to introduce a range of chocolate confectionery using natural sweetener stevia instead of sugar ­early next year through UK distributor House of Sarunds.

The company’s sales and marketing director Edward King notes that as of November the company is planning to launch the product in Belgium and then all over Europe and the world.

The range will include milk, white, dark, nut and fruit chocolate lines. House of Sarunds says the range would be “marginally” more expensive than other premium chocolate.
